Melissa is the wife of Assoc. Pastor Ed Herring and mother to two boys, Nicholas and Samuel. She has served as volunteer Interim Children's Ministry Director since March 2023. Melissa hails from Sulphur, LA, earned a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Louisiana Tech University, and teaches full-time at Folsom Elementary School. In her downtime, Melissa enjoys relaxing on the family's wildlife preserve and daydreaming about a carp pond.
