Membership

Requirements To Become A Member:

A public profession of faith in Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior.

Baptism by immersion.

Agreement with our doctrinal positions

Individuals or families desiring membership should come to a weekend worship service and request membership to the staff and leadership at Red Bluff. This will initiate the process of membership into our congregation. Upon request applicants will be required to meet with the pastor or other staff member.  Upon approval the pastor will recommend the candidate (s) for membership during a regular business meeting.

We encourage our members to maintain the following as they press into life with Christ:

Regular worship attendance: We believe it is vital to be in worship with other believers to hear the Word of God and to worship God through song, prayer, giving, etc.

Financial contribution: We believe God calls us to give a tithe (10th part) of our income and suggest that all believers do the same as well as give to various mission projects throughout the church year as the Holy Spirit leads the individual.

Private devotional time: We believe it is imperative that Christians have personal time with God in order to reflect, confess sin, pray, meditate on Scripture and worship God.

Find a place of ministry: We believe God has equipped and gifted all believers for their own personal ministry in or outside the church. This does not have to be an “official” position in the church, but we do encourage all members to use their gifts, talents, and resources for kingdom work.

Pursue community: We believe that God made us to do life with other believers and as a result, Christians should pursue community and fellowship with each other. This can take place through small groups, through fellowship times, through worship attendance, and through various church events.

Memorize mission statement: We feel it is important for our members to know who we are and what we are about here at RBBC, which is why we want all our members to know the mission statement: PURSUING AND PROCLAIMING JESUS AND HIS VISION FOR ALL THINGS!

Personal Evangelism: We feel it is the calling of each member to share their faith and the vision we are pursuing at RBBC. We wish to equip our people to do this better so that we can truly proclaim Jesus and His Vision For All Things!
